Developed by Trey Kistler and with the input of over a dozen Kistler Pro Team anglers, the Kistler Series 2 Casting Reels are designed to be smooth casting, durable, and incredibly lightweight. Built from a solid aluminum frame with carbon side plates, the reel is finished with highly durable matte paint to provide a non-slip grip. The handle is fitted with contoured rubber grips for added comfort, and an oversized 4-inch aluminum cranking arm provides impeccable cranking power. No need to pop the side plate off to access the braking system, as all adjustments are made using the external control on the side plate.

Featuring a deep-set anodized aluminum spool that offers plenty of line capacity, a convenient line tie port makes spooling easy and provides a secure connection point. The multiple Teflon disk drag washer system affords 12lbs of drag power and enhanced heat-resistance durability. Equipped with 8 stainless steel bearings and a hardened zirconia ceramic line guide, the reel casts and retrieves fluently while preventing braided lines from grooving or damaging the line guide. Kistler Series 2 Casting Reels are factory-tuned, tested, and pre-oiled so they are ready for combat straight out of the box.
